Gary’s Bio:
Gary Garcia, born October 14, 1980 in San Antonio, TX got his start as a professional entertainer while performing back-up vocals and dancing for Latin pop Artist, Amber Rose in the late 90’s. During his time with Amber Rose, he toured the United States and also opened for comedian Paul Rodriguez as his opening act. The group was often featured on local and national platforms. Gary also was a part of local performing legend, Patsy Torresâ Positive Force tour spreading anti-drug and bullying awareness to high schools.
In 1999, Gary was discovered by Sam Riddle, a producer from LA who had formed a
boy band. It was at this time that Gary discovered his passion for singing. Gary gained lots of experience in the studio and appeared in a World Wide Talent competition that was created for the Travel Channel, Destination Stardom.
Gary, has been the front man for various big bands in Texas over the last 10 years. In more recent years, Gary has cultivated and perfected his solo act covering genres to include but not limited to Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars and Earth Wind & Fire just to name a few.
He has also been contracted to perform Carnival Cruises by Cruise Jockey for the last five years. Gary performs at various events all over the United States, to include private events, corporate events and special events for municipalities. Gary participated in the Texas Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition in Dallas, TX. Though it was his first opportunity to compete, he managed to make it to the final round and was awarded a top finalist in the competition.
With more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Gary has earned and become known as Gary âThe Showmanâ. It is a name very fitting for a true entertainer. Anyone who has seen The Showman show can attest to the fact that Gary does not disappoint. Heâs a true performer with looks, the voice and the moves to prove it.
