Mateo Lopez began his professional career at age 4, earning him designation in the Guinness Book of World Records as The World’s Youngest Mariachi.
After a chance meeting in San Antonio, Sonny was so inspired by his talent and story that he booked him on the spot.
At age 8, Mateo has a clear vision of his entertainment roadmap, using his gift to lift spirits nationally and internationally. (He traveled to Milan, Italy where he performed at the prestigious, Le Show De Records and brought the house down with his voice and innocent charm.

Mateo Adalberto Lopez (born August 28, 2014), is Mexican-American and the youngest mariachi on record by the Guinness Book of world record. Mateo gained notable recognition after performing on NBC’s National television show, Little Big Shots and International Talent Show, Mexico Tiene Talento. (Mexico’s Got Talent)

Mateo’s natural vocal abilities and inclination toward mariachi music traces back to his very own “Coco” story. Mateo keeps the memories alive of his grandfather (Leocadio Lopez), as he continues to keep his Mexican heritage and cultural traditions alive.
Mateo’s latest performances include singing the Mexican National Anthem for the MLS All-Star game in Minnesota and the US National anthem at Bostons historic Fenway Park.
Mateo is an energetic boy who enjoys playing baseball, ride speed cars, reading, nature adventures and travel, but his biggest love and passion is Mariachi Music. Mateo’s legacy is to keep Mexican music alive. He inspires people of all ages through his brilliant talent and charisma.
